What are the Chakra's?
The Chakra System is a model of spinning wheels that allows the flow of subtle energy through the human energy system. Subtle energy runs through all life and is the source of all living things. The main seven chakras run through the body like a ladder, taking us from the root chakra and physical realm of substance, all the way up through the higher mind and spirit, and up to the crown chakra of divine consciousness. The chakras are like keys to our emotional stability, our physical health and our mental clarity. Working together, the chakras filter energy as it comes into the body from different sources, and places it where it is most needed. We are able to transform and expand our subtle energy by supporting and healing the seven major energy centres that are known as the chakras.
Supporting your Spiritual Journey
When we begin the tapping journey through the chakras, we open the way for healing, emotional and psychological development, and spiritual growth to happen. There is opportunity to release old, stagnant emotional energy in various ways that hold us back on a spiritual level. The more freedom, love, acceptance and forgiveness we experience, the wider our energy field becomes. As we evolve, we are actually becoming healthier! One of the best ways to help with this is to try our best to live in the present. The wellbeing of our chakras is very important, because they are vital to how we think and feel.
The chakras take us from the most primal aspect of our survival, right up to the spiritual heights of joy, bliss and healing consciousness. They are the centres for our thoughts and feelings and our outlook on life. If we have a negative or narrow view of the world and our place in it, our energy will mirror this and will be small and narrow as well. When our life is not in 'flow' or a situation or event gets in the way, our chakras slow down, become clogged and even blocked. If a chakra cannot resume its normal function, it will eventually impact on its neighbouring chakras, as one will work overtime to compensate for another in this case. Positive stimulation is needed to restore a chakras activity and get things moving again.
Tapping through the Chakra's
We are surrounded by an energy field (subtle energy) which includes our aura and the seven layers of energy known as the 'subtle bodies.' These bodies are responsible for our emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. They are a direct reflection of our spiritual state and they mirror how we feel about ourselves and life in general. When you move upwards, focusing on each energy centre as you go, you will start to learn more about who you are and will be able to support and heal your energy levels. Through gentle EFT tapping, you will be able to 'filter out' negative energy, thoughts and feelings and allow love and compassion to become the centre of your life.
Tapping through the chakras, while inviting positive and loving thoughts about yourself and your world, will help to maintain their health and effectiveness, keeping each chakra in balance and working together in harmony. This system of working with the chakras is an ancient art. In today's world however, we need to find time to support our energy systems so that we can take charge of our lives and change the way we do things. We may not even be aware of them, but suppressing our feelings and emotions means they become trapped in our subconscious mind, and this slows down our energy systems. Re-playing negative thoughts and feelings over and over, can lead to anxiety, and will also start to appear as physical symptoms or dis-ease in the body.
By learning how to manage our emotions and allowing our feelings space in our life, we can choose the best ways for us to express and release them. They are, after all, pure energy. How we choose to express that energy is up to us. The more positive we are, the more resilient and better functioning our chakras and energy system will be.
